ANTEROS // Drive On
We love a political song at Orajin.. Heck that's what we are about.. Fighting the good fight and togetherness..
At the start of this song the London based band which are Laura, Joshua, Jackson & Harry address the very real problem of Plastic Waste..
That is currently awash throughout Earths Oceans, Seas & Waterways.. As well as being a great band this a great song and video, and our applause
go out to the message they are putting out there..
Sure we contribute by littering but surely in this day and age the powers that be should have come up with a solution like in every other scenario
we face and they are to blame for.. Only they know why in this case plastics are still so massively produced..
Single use plastics and microplastics are of serious concern.. Read Here.. https://www.nrdc.org/stories/single-use-plastics-101
LYRICS:
We followed signs and artificial lines
For a tinted sky where the sun always shines
We're palm tree tall, close my eyes and I won't fall
My hands trim the air but my feet can't feel the floor
We carry on through a wasteland
We drive on, drive on
We leave it all by the wayside
We drive on, drive on
You're so close to me
But it won't mean anything
If it feels like heaven but it looks like hell
I can close my eyes to see
Doesn't mean that much to me
'Cause it feels like heaven but it looks like hell
Pulled apart the city without a heart
How I mourned our loss with my fingers crossed
The sad delight, we don't smile but we never fight
How we learned to ignore what we needed to know
And leave it all by the wayside
And drive on, drive on
You're so close to me
But it won't mean anything
If it feels like heaven but it looks like hell
I can close my eyes to see
It doesn't mean that much to me
'Cause it feels like heaven but it looks like hell
We carry on through a wasteland
We drive on, drive on
We leave it all by the wayside
And drive on, drive on
You're so close to me
But it won't mean anything
If it feels like heaven but it looks like hell
I can close my eyes to see
It doesn't mean that much to me
'Cause it feels like heaven but it looks like hell
