After a long hiatus The Verve got back together for a new album Forth.. A new tour.. This One.. and on the back of a belter of a tune.. When a sound engineer I knew knocked at my door and offered me 4 VIP tickets for V Festival I snapped his hands off.. Myself, Burkey, Mark & Ads from The Dandretta went down the M6 to enjoy the experience.. The set was great. Even when the rain came lashing down mid way through it.. I was waiting to hear 'Love Is Noise'.. it simply didn't matter..

The light show was as good as this version from Glastonbury and as close as I can get to reliving it.. Ashcroft is a legend anyway.. He owns the stage.. This was one performance that should be enjoyed by many..
